Free no obligation via phone, email or social media. Also in-person consultations can be arranged. Please contact me if you would like to discuss how I can create this very personal and special piece of jewellery for you. If you're able to, you can come to the studio to choose your glass colours and have a face to face consultation.
ASHES
I require approximately 1 teaspoon of ashes and all remaining ashes are returned to you with your jewellery. Once in my possession they are kept safe and treated respectfully and carefully.
Ashes are individual in how they look when they are given to you by the funeral home or vets. This will have an affect on how the ashes appear in your jewellery. As ashes are an organic material and can be affected by many things. I carefully select the ashes I use to create a beautiful piece for you and they will never look the same as anyone elses.
You can place an order from the memorial collection in my shop or contact me. Either way, we will be able to discuss the finer points of your jewellery, for example, the colour, size and shape.
When you are happy with your choices, I will send you a pack with an order form for you to sign and everything you'll need to send the ashes to me. This is sent within 5 working days and gives you time to think about your order and any changes you may wish to make. It is so important to me that I create something you will truly love.
Every piece of memorial jewellery I handcraft takes time to complete. I am respectful and work on one piece at a time to ensure your ashes are kept safe and away from other commissions.
For this reason my timescales can alter. I quote 6-8 weeks from when I receive the ashes and deposit, to complete your pieces. However, this can change and I will keep you updated throughout.
All ashes are individual, just like your loved one or pet. No two pieces of glass will ever look the same. Some may form small bubbles during their creation, this is the nature of the glass melting around the ashes. When this happens it can only add to the beauty of your glass.
When making items, I work very hard at creating one piece of glass or two for matching jewellery items. If for any reason I have created additional glass cabochons to, especially when creating matching earrings or cufflinks, these will be sent to you along with your jewellery with any remaining ashes.
