Yes you can. When I make your glass I use tiny fragments. 2 or more colours can be mixed incorporating your favorites.

All of my jewellery items are handmade using quality glass sourced from Warm Glass in Bristol.
I do not use resin as it is not hard wearing nor long lasting. It can also have a tendancy of turning yellow over time.

Yes. I create pieces with both human and animal Ashes.
I only ask for about 1/2 a teaspoon of ashes. This is plenty for a few items of jewellery. Please do not send all of it as both you and I rely on 3rd party postal services and would hate to lose it.
The jewellery I am making is for you. If you wish to have more than one loved ones or pets ashes in your piece you can.
Yes. I have created memorial glass cabochons for other jewellery designers in the UK. I can collaborate and liaise directly with them for you if you wish.
I have created pieces, among others, for Nicola Lillie Designs (as seen on All that Glitters on BBC), Claire from Unbound and Isabella Day at The Remarkable Goldsmiths in Dartmouth.
Depending on the design, it may be possible to have your item engraved. This is done by the London Assay Office and is charged at £33.50.
Some of my designs can be hand stamped with names, letters, numbers or symbols.
All wedding rings are hallmarked by the London Assay Office.
Due to the heat involved in the glass fusing process, hair will sadly burn away. I can place hair between the silver setting and glass, however it won't be visible.
I allow 7 days from the initial order for you to make any changes you wish to.
Once you are happy with your decisions, I create your jewellery myself from the initial design to the finished article.
Your item is NOT mass produced, it is created for you by hand by one person. Each stage takes time. Once the initial consultation and order is placed, I create an individual mould to allow me to make your glass cabochon to the correct size and shape. Handling the ashes with care and respect and taking my time are paramount. When the glass is ready, I then start making your setting.
There will be many stages to creating your setting to ensure it fits your glass snuggly, safely and looks beautiful. I hand file and polish all of your pieces using many grades of files and papers until I get that mirror shine or the finish required. This is also true for other bespoke items like wedding rings.
I quote 8-12 weeks for bespoke items. However, this can change and I will advise you how long your special jewellery will take or if there are any delays. For memorial jewellery, this timescale is from the date of me receiving the ashes.
Hallmarking: I have no control over timescales imposed by the Assay Office in London or postal service.
Packaging: I use as much recycled packaging as I can, even reusing envelopes and packaging from suppliers. Wedding rings are packaged in wooden boxes and memorial jewellery is packaged in beautiful cardboard boxes. I try to keep my plastic use to a minimum.
